Autumn Favourites 2012

Hello everybody it’s been a while, *cough*...over a year actually eeeek!

Admittedly I have been a blogging hermit but I have dusted off my keyboard, ready to slip on those blogging shoes once more. Hurrah!

Really can’t believe how fast the summer has disappeared. To be replaced by chilly days and fallen autumn leaves that did look good for a while until it rained. They now resemble a lovely brown mush.

What better to start posting again with some autumn favourites.

Boots Soltan face SPF15
Yes really, the temperature may have gone down but the sun is fond of being a tease by shining down upon us occasionally. This does a great job of adding a subtle glow to dull skin without the grease factor.

Collection - lasting colour lipstick in Queen of Hearts
I’m going to throw it out there, this has to be one the best red lipsticks on the high street. Certainly rave quality in my opinion, expect a dedicated post to follow.

Rimmel - lasting finish lipstick in Heart Breaker
The most flattering pink I have come across. Discovered this a few months ago, definitely a cross seasonal colour. It’s the catalyst for my statement lip obsession. Blog coming up.

Boots 17 – blush powder in China Pink
Dabbed on the apples of the cheeks it provides the perfect doll pink to give my cheeks a cool winter glow. Beautifully pigmented with a hint of shimmer, despite having used this for a while there’s barely a dent made.

Rimmel – Lycra Pro in Celebrity Bash
I have a thing for polishes of the blood red variety. It looks good in any situation. Whilst i reluctantly tore myself away from this during the summer it is now back to stay.

Barry M – Nail Paint in Indigo
Picked this up on a whim in Superdrug. Usually I’m disappointed by how different a colour appears once it’s on the nails. Surprisingly it looks even better once applied. It just oozes indigo richness. Instant love.

Collection - Lasting perfection concealer
After countless raves coming from left right and centre, I just had to try it out for myself. Verdict? A pigmented creamy consistency that covers my late night dark circles a charm without feeling too heavy. Basically a repetition of everything everyone has said before. I too can now shake my tube on the bandwagon. :)

What are your autumn faves?
